Soup.jpgBreakfast! I came back to Luang Prabang this second time to buy a bunch of the beautiful hand-made silks and see some things I missed the first time. 35 KB
Kwang_Xi.jpgA friend (Richard Hudson) had told me that the nearby waterfalls (Kwang Xi) were worth going to. So I took a look this time. He was right! 48 KB
JC_Kwang_Xi.jpgThe Kwang Xi falls were similar to the Erawan Falls in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. Many stepped falls that one could explore alone and swim in. These were a bit bigger and in some cases more developed (sometimes with wood steps, etc). 45 KB

Monks.jpgJust some monks doing repair work. The monks in this town are known to be very friendly and chatty. I think they send 'em here from all over Laos. I was surprised to find out that many of the youth are just "doing the monk thing" for a few months to appease their families and win Karma points. 46 KB
